Itinerary

Day 1
• Orientation and course briefing
• Knowledge development (self-study review)
• Confined-water rescue skills:
• – Tired/panicked diver assists
• – Response from shore/boat
• – In-water rescue breathing practice

Day 2
• Knowledge development quiz
• Open-water rescue exercises:
• – Tired diver tow and exits
• – Panicked diver approach and control
• – Missing diver search patterns
• – Surfacing an unresponsive diver

Day 3
• Final knowledge review and exam
• Open-water rescue scenarios:
• – Unresponsive diver at surface
• – Unresponsive diver underwater
• Emergency management and equipment organization
• Debriefing and certification

Important Notes

• Bring swimwear, towel, and reef‑safe sunscreen
• Complete a standard diving medical questionnaire; doctor’s clearance may be required
• Not suitable for pregnancy or serious heart/back/neck conditions
• Weather and marine authority permissions may adjust sites or schedule
• Respect marine life and protected areas; no touching or collecting
• Children must be accompanied by a legal guardian
